Winners Take All Community-Read

For girls and boys in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, and their parents, teachers, and coaches.

Winners Take All is a suspenseful, fun-to-read baseball story that gets kids and grownups talking together about big issues in sports-and life.

What is the WTA Community-Read?
The idea is a simple one with big payoffs. Children and grownups read the book on their own and then get together to talk about it. The story raises some tricky kid-sized moral issues that always spark a lively discussion. And as they consider the story and each other's views, the kids and grownups sort out their own thoughts and values. Most importantly, they have shared an unusual opportunity to slow down and think a bit more deeply about the sports they play and the lives they lead.
